Ontario reporting 12 fewer people in hospital due to COVID-19, three more in ICU

The Province is reporting 336 people in hospital with COVID-19, a decrease of 12 from the day before.

Additionally, as of Friday (September 17), 194 people are currently in the ICU due to complications associated with the virus, which is an increase of three from the previous day.

Of those who are in hospital, 136 are unvaccinated, while 10 have received one dose, and 30 have received both doses.

Additionally, of those in the ICU, 120 are unvaccinated, while nine have received one dose, and 13 have received both doses.

The Province is reporting an additional 35,285 vaccinations as of Friday. To date, 75 per cent of Ontarians have received one dose, including 86 per cent of adults, and 80 per cent of adults have received both doses.
