Ontario reporting 12 fewer people in hospital due to COVID-19, five fewer in ICU

The Province is reporting 233 people in hospital with COVID-19, a decrease of 12 from the day before.

Additionally, as of Monday (September 20), 177 people are currently in the ICU due to complications associated with the virus, which is a decrease of five from the previous day.

Of those who are in hospital, 133 are unvaccinated, while 10 have received one dose, and 34 have received both doses.

Additionally, of those in the ICU, 115 are unvaccinated, while 10 have received one dose, and 11 have received both doses.

The Province is reporting an additional 16,712 vaccinations as of Monday. To date, 75 per cent of Ontarians have received one dose, including 87 per cent of adults, and 81 per cent of adults have received both doses.
