Ontario reporting 110 more people in hospital due to COVID-19, two fewer in ICU

The Province is reporting 336 people in hospital with COVID-19, an increase of 110 from the day before.

Additionally, as of Tuesday (August 31), 158 people are currently in the ICU due to complications associated with the virus, which is a decrease of two from the previous day.

Of those who are in hospital, 137 are unvaccinated, while 19 have received one dose, and 33 have received both doses.

Additionally, of those in the ICU, 83 are unvaccinated, while eight have received one dose, and 10 have received both doses.

The Province is reporting an additional 31,176 vaccinations as of Tuesday. To date, 73 per cent of Ontarians have received one dose, including 85 per cent of adults, and 78 per cent of adults have received both doses.
