Sam McDadi explains what to expect of the Mississauga and Ontario real estate market this late summer going into fall

The head of the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA) will provide insight into Burlington’s housing market at an upcoming session presented by the Burlington Chamber of Commerce

Tim Hudak, head of the OREA, will discuss support for realtors, advocacy for homeowners and shifts in the real estate landscape.

His presentation will take place Sept. 15 at 7:30 p.m. at the Art Gallery of Burlington.

Tickets are $39 for members of the Burlington Chamber of Commerce and $49 for non-members.

Representing 96,000 realtors in Ontario, Hudak is often called a champion for those dreaming of home ownership and has focussed his role with OREA on making it a professional association at the forefront of advocacy on behalf of realtors and consumers, by providing conferences, standard forms, leadership training and professional guidance to its members.

The former leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario, Hudak has been in the CEO position since 2016 and has since been named one of the most powerful people in North American residential real estate by Swanepoel Power 200 for the last five years. In 2021, he was also named to the Government of Ontario’s new Housing Affordability Taskforce, which will explore measures to address housing affordability and job creation.

Following the HUdak’s keynote presentation, the Realtors Association of Hamilton – Burlington’s President, Nicolas Von Bredow, will give a 10-minute brief addressing the commercial and residential real estate market in Burlington.

You must register for the event to attend. Further information can be found here.
