Investigators are urging any victims to come forward after a victim was sexually assaulted during a visit to a chiropractor in Ontario, police say.

The assault happened at a clinic at a private residence in Vaughan, York Regional Police said in a release.

Police say the victim was sexually assaulted during a chiropractic appointment at the clinic in the area of Brownridge Drive and Wade Gate.

The incident was reported to police on June 25 and police say a 50-year-old man was arrested and charged on Wednesday.

Police suspect there may be additional victims and are urging anyone who feels they may have been a victim of a sexual assault to come forward and report the incident to investigators.

York Regional Police say Evan Kogon, 50, of Vaughan has been arrested and charged with one count of sexual assault.

“A sexual assault includes any non-consensual contact of a sexual nature,” police said.

“There is no statute of limitations for sexual offences and offenders can be prosecuted well after the date of the offence.”
