ONroute is showing their appreciation for truck drivers continuing to work during the pandemic.

Today (April 8), ONroute Service Centres are offering free coffee to truck drivers as a way of thanking them for maintaining provincial and national supply chains.

“ONroute is proud to support the essential services provided by so many workers during this time,” Melanie Teed-Murch, CEO of ONroute, said in a news release.

“We have the opportunity to serve our trucking and supply chain sectors and hope that this small token of appreciation demonstrates our gratitude for the many ways they are helping our province and country during this challenging time,” she continued.

Today, all 23 ONroute locations in the province will be offering a free medium coffee or other beverage to all truck drivers who stop at one for the entire day–ONroute is encouraging truck drivers to present a form of proof of trucking licence or association membership to receive their free beverage.

“We continue to operate all 23 plazas across Ontario, providing 24/7 access to fuel, washrooms, food and beverages, and truck parking,” Teed-Murch said.

“We know it is a hard time to travel and we’re proud to offer truckers, and all travellers who are on our roads, somewhere safe and clean to stop on their journey,” she added.
