Online registration for indoor summer recreation programs in Burlington will be opening later this week.

On July 24 at 9:00 a.m., the City of Burlington will open online registration for indoor summer recreation programs for adults 19 years of age and older and adults 55 years of age and older.

Registration for swimming programs at Tansley Woods, Aldershot, Centennial and Angela Coughlan pools will also open on the same day at 11:00 a.m.

Residents are reminded that registration for drop-in recreational swimming and skating programs at indoor city facilities is required 25 hours in advance of the program start time.

Drop-in swimming programs are open as of today (July 19) and skating programs will resume tomorrow (July 20).

Additionally, there will be a new self-serve option for withdrawing from drop-in programs.

This will give participants the ability to withdraw from drop-in programs online by logging into their Live & Play accounts.

All programs will continue following public health guidance. This includes physical distancing, capacity limits and wearing masks or face coverings. Participants for in-person programs will also be required to fill out a mandatory health screening form before each session.
