One woman sent to hospital after vehicle crashes into a bank in Brampton

A vehicle collided with a building near a bustling Brampton plaza this afternoon, sending one woman inside the establishment to the hospital with unknown injuries.
On Saturday (Aug. 12) at around 5:15 p.m., police responded to a crash along Bovaird Dr. and Worthington Ave., southeast of Chinguacousy Rd.
Police say the driver inside the vehicle that hit the building which allegedly was a TD Canada Trust bank, suffered no injuries.
However, investigators say a woman inside the building was transported by an ambulance to a trauma centre. The extent of her injuries are unknown at this time.
The circumstances of the incident are still being investigated by police. More information to follow.
