One vehicle is on fire as a result.

Injuries are unknown at this time.

UPDATE:

The vehicle fire has been extinguished.

Occupants of the vehicles are being assessed by Peel Paramedics.

Peel Police say the extent of injuries is unknown, yet none seem life-threatening at this point.

Westbound traffic on Steeles Avenue is being re-routed onto Northbound Bramalea Road.

UPDATE 2:

All roadways have been reopened.
