UPDATE: One seriously injured in two-vehicle crash in Brampton

UPDATE: Peel Regional Police have now reopened the roads to motorists.
One person sustained serious injuries following a two-vehicle accident at a busy intersection in Brampton this morning.
On Sunday (Oct. 8) at approximately 7:40 a.m., police responded to a collision near Bramalea Rd. and Central Park Dr., northeast of Williams Pkwy.
Police say both vehicles remained at the scene.
Investigators have closed off the northbound area of Bramalea Rd. from Goodwood Rd. and southbound from Central Park Dr.
Officers haven’t specified when the roads will reopen to the public.
Drivers should seek alternate routes for the time being.
