One person suffers life-threatening injuries in two-car crash in Mississauga

One person has suffered life-threatening injuries after a two-car crash late this afternoon (June 7) in the east end of Mississauga.
Peel Regional Police say the two vehicles were involved in a collision at Dundas St. E. and Universal Dr., just west of The West Mall, just before 4:30 p.m.
Both eastbound and westbound lanes of Dundas St. E. are closed between Main St. (just east of Dixie Rd.) and The West Mall, police say.
Northbound and southbound lanes on Universal Dr. are also closed.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
