Update: One person sent to hospital after car slams into a Mississauga building

One person was injured after car struck a Port Credit building early Monday (Sept. 19).
The driver hit the popular Brogue Irish Pub and what was Union Barbers (now closed and for lease) early Monday morning.
The driver had minor injuries, and paramedics took the person to hospital, said Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services in a tweet around 5:30 a.m. on Monday.
The barbershop appears to have sustained most of the damage with a smashed window but an outdoor patio was also destroyed.
Update: Peel Regional Police added that the call came in at 12:22 a.m. There were three people in the car and one person was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Police do not yet have information regarding charges in the crash.
