One person rescued from fire at Brampton residence

A fire has broken out in Brampton this evening.

A fire has broken out in Brampton this evening.

Police say a call came in at 10:07 p.m. for a fire at a residence in the area of Jefferson Rd and Jordan Blvd, near Bramalea at Williams Parkway.

One person was rescued from the residence and is now being tended to by Peel paramedics.

The extent of their injuries is unknown and the cause of the fire has not been disclosed at this time.

Residents should avoid the area.
