One Person in Critical Condition After Crash in Mississauga

A serious collision has taken place this morning in Mississauga.
Peel Paramedics reported around 11:15 a.m. that multiple people were involved in a vehicle crash near the intersection of Matheson and Mavis. The front of the vehicle sustained massive damage.
One person has been taken to Sunnybrook Hospital in critical condition.
UPDATE: The patient’s condition is now considered non life-threatening. Three other people involved in the collision were also taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Mavis Road between Lafayette Drive and Bristol Road is closed down as police investigate. Avoid the area.
