One person hospitalized after high-rise fire breaks out in Mississauga

Crews are on scene for a fire in Mississauga this afternoon (Dec. 19).
Shortly after 1:00 p.m., Mississauga Fire reported that a fire had broken out at a high-rise building in the area of Hurontario and Paisley Blvd, north of Queensway West.
One person with smoke inhalation was transported to hospital by Peel paramedics.
No other injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
Police are on scene providing traffic control as first responders continue to respond to the incident.
