One Person Dead in Industrial Accident in Mississauga

The Ministry of Labour is investigating after a fatal accident took place this afternoon in Mississauga.
Peel Police got a call at 3:55 p.m. regarding an industrial accident in the area of Lakeshore Road West and Pine Avenue North, where homes are currently under construction.
The victim was using a forklift to carry construction materials off of a truck. For reasons currently unknown, the forklift flipped over, crushing the victim underneath.
He died at the scene, according to police.
Officers, paramedics and emergency services are in the area. An investigation into this incident by the Ministry of Labour is currently underway.
It is advised to avoid the area for now.
