One City-operated golf course in Mississauga is now open, with the other anticipating a June opening because of construction work.

The 18-hole championship course is now open at BraeBen while the 9-hole course opens next Friday, April 21.

All junior golfers, 17 and under, can play for free when accompanied by a paying adult until May 31.

The BraeBen driving range will be open on a limited basis starting Saturday, April 16.

BraeBen is located at 5700 Terry Fox Way.

Meanwhile, Lakeview Golf Course, which has been operating at is present location since 1907, is set to open for 9-hole play on June 20 with the 18-hole course scheduled for a July 15 opening.

The delay in opening at Lakeview is due to reconstruction surrounding Applewood Creek which runs through the property. As well, there will be a new design for the cart path along with adjustments to the tees, greens and fairways because of the realignment to the creek.

Lakeview is located at 1190 Dixie Rd.

Book information for both courses can be found here.
