One man in hospital, shooter at large after gunfire in north Oshawa

Gunfire in north Oshawa Sunday afternoon sent one man to hospital with the shooter still on the loose.

Police are looking for clues to identify the gunman after responding to a townhouse complex at Ritson Road and Pentland Street at 3 p.m. Sunday. Officers arrived on scene and discovered a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to Oshawa Hospital in serious but non-life-threatening condition. His condition has since been upgraded to stable.
