One man dead in overnight shooting in Brampton as suspects fled

One man is dead following an overnight shooting in Brampton on Tuesday (Oct. 12).

Peel Police were called to a shooting in the area of Dixie Road and Peter Robertson at around 1:00 a.m..

The adult male victim was transported to Sunnybrook in life threatening condition but later died of his injuries.

The suspects fled in the area in a red vehicle.

Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau has now taken over the investigation.

East Bound Peter Robertson Blvd closed between Dixie Road and Softneedle.
