Lottery players across Canada are checking their tickets after the latest Lotto Max draw offered a $25 million jackpot.
One lottery ticket won $25 million in Canada last night
The winning numbers drawn were 15, 17, 18, 21, 28, 32 and 46, with 38 as the bonus number. The ENCORE number was 4366248.
The draw produced thousands of winning tickets across multiple prize categories, including a pair of tickets worth $77,292.80 each for matching six numbers plus the bonus number.
And while many players collected smaller prizes, one ticket matched all seven winning numbers to claim the $25 million Lotto Max jackpot.
A total of 106,244 winning tickets were recorded in the main draw, including:
- 36 tickets worth $4,375.30 for matching six numbers
- 96 tickets worth $1,066.30 for matching five numbers plus the bonus
- 2,247 tickets worth $102.30 for matching five numbers
- 3,584 tickets worth $53.40 for matching four numbers plus the bonus
- 50,059 tickets worth $20 for matching four numbers
- 50,219 tickets worth $20 for matching three numbers plus the bonus
- 518,665 free plays for matching three numbers
The draw also included 25 MAXPLUS selections, each worth $100,000. Four of those prizes were won, resulting in $400,000 in additional payouts.
The winning MAXPLUS combinations were:
- 01, 14, 21, 22, 39, 43, 48
- 02, 16, 18, 25, 33, 34, 38
- 03, 17, 22, 26, 30, 37, 46
- 09, 14, 37, 38, 40, 43, 44
No top ENCORE prizes were claimed. However, nine players won $1,000 by matching the last five digits of the ENCORE number, while 87 players won $100 by matching the last four digits.
Lottery officials have not yet announced where the winning $25 million ticket was sold. More details are expected once the ticket has been validated.
