A pedestrian has been struck by two vehicles in Mississauga.

Peel Regional Police say one person is dead after a collision in Mississauga before midnight last night (March 26).

Peel police say the pedestrian was struck by two vehicles at about 11:15 p.m. in Mississauga and pronounced dead at the scene.

The pedestrian was hit in the area of Creditview Road and Bristol Road.

Police say the vehicles remained at the scene for the investigation.

The vehicle remained on the scene.

There were road closures due to the fatal collision.

Creditview Road, both north and southbound, was closed between Carolyn Road to Willow Way. Bristol Road was closed between Bathgate Road and Whitehorn Avenue.

The deceased has not been identified.

Update: Just before 8 a.m. on Monday (March 27), police said the roads were reopened. Anyone with information on this collision can contact the Peel Regional Police Major Collision Bureau at 905-453-3311.
