One in life-threatening condition, two serious injured after two-vehicle crash in Brampton

One person is fighting for their life in hospital, and two others sustained serious injuries following a two-vehicle crash in Brampton early this morning.
On Sunday (Oct. 8) shortly after 12:10 a.m., police responded to a collision in the area of Gillingham Dr. & Main St. N., southeast of Hurontario St.
According to police, two vehicles were involved in the crash which resulted in two occupants being transported to a local hospital with serious injuries, while another occupant was taken to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.
Investigators say both vehicles remained at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
Officers have closed northbound Main St. at Brickyard Way, southbound at Bovaird Dr., and eastbound Gillingham Dr. at Aldgate Way.
Police have not provided information as to when they anticipate to reopen the roads to the public.
Drivers may want to seek alternate routes for the time being.
