One dead in Monday morning shooting in Brampton

An early morning shooting in Brampton has left one man dead.
Peel Regional Police were called to the Veterans Drive and Wanless Drive area, east of Mississauga Road, shortly after 5:30 a.m. on Monday morning (Sept. 12).
When officers arrived, they found one adult man suffering from gunshot wounds.
Police said the man was shot inside a vehicle in a driveway of a residence, and investigators say this is believed to be a targeted shooting.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
No additional details have been released about the victim, and police are still searching for any possible suspects.
The Homicide Bureau has taken control of the investigation.
