One dead in building fire in Brampton

Peel Regional Police confirm that one man has died after a high-rise residential building fire in Brampton this morning.
On Monday (Feb. 20) 2023, at approximately 9 a.m., Peel police responded to a residential building fire in the area of Kennedy Rd/Tullamore Rd in Brampton.
One man was transported to the hospital in critical condition but succumbed to his injuries.
It is unknown how many units were affected at this time and if anyone else was injured.
Police say Kennedy Rd moving southbound has been shut down and Tullamore Rd has also closed in both eastbound/westbound directions.
