Artem Grushnikov scored the game-winner at 11:21 of the third period as the Hamilton Bulldogs earned a 3-2 victory over the Barrie Colts Thursday night at Sadlon Arena.

The victory was Hamilton’s (35-11-4) 10th straight. They’ve now won 17 of their last 18 games.

Avery Hayes and Logan Morrison also scored for the Bulldogs, who lead the Ontario Hockey League in points and were the first club to clinch a playoff spot.

Barrie (24-23-5) netminder Mack Guzda made 26 saves in the loss.

Nathan Allensen and Declan McDonnell scored the Colts’ two goals on the evening.

Colts captain Brandt Clarke was given a five-minute major and game misconduct for a check to the head in the third period.

Next up for Bulldogs is a trip to Mississauga on Friday before returning home to play in the Outdoor Showcase at Hamilton’s Tim Hortons Field on Mar. 14 at 7 p.m. against the Oshawa Generals.
