An officer and a citizen were taken to hospital after a vehicle struck a police cruiser during a three-vehicle collision in Mississauga.
An officer and a citizen were taken to hospital Thursday night after a vehicle struck a police cruiser during a three-vehicle collision in Mississauga.
Burnhamthorpe Rd. West, between Mavis and Perivale roads, and Wolfdale Rd., in both directions, were closed for an extended period as officials investigated. Motorists were advised to take alternate routes.
A male driver, accused of impaired driving, was taken into custody.
The injuries sustained in the crash are considered minor.
