Oct. 4 Weather: Chance of afternoon showers in southern Ontario

It’ll be a sunny start on Friday (Oct. 3), but the clouds will roll in, and with them a chance for an afternoon shower in Mississauga and southern Ontario.

Expect a mix of sun and cloud for most of the day, says Environment Canada.

Residents will wake up to sunny skies in the morning before the clouds begin to move in. There will be a 30 percent chance of showers in the afternoon.

A high of 20 C is expected for the day. The UV index will be 4 or more moderate.

A few clouds will remain through the evening. Wind will be north at 20 km/hr. and become light near midnight.

An overnight low of 7 C is expected.

There will be two minutes less of daylight time on Friday. We’ll have 11 hours and 36 minutes of daylight in all.

The sun will rise one minute later at 7:19 p.m. and set a minute earlier at 6:55 p.m.
