Oct. 2 Weather: Morning drizzle possible, mainly cloudy day ahead for southern Ontario

After some possible morning precipitation, it will be a mix of sun and clouds for Wednesday (Oct. 2) in Mississauga and southern Ontario.

While the weather will vary early in the day, skies will begin to clear throughout the day, says Environment Canada.

There will be a 30 percent chance of showers or drizzle early in the day, before clearing later in the morning.

Wind will be north at 30 km/h and then become lighter in the afternoon. A high of 19 C is on tap for the day. The UV index will be 5 or more moderate.

The evening hours will bring clear skies. An overnight low of 10 C is expected.

The days continue to get shorter with 11 hours and 41 minutes of daylight. The sun will rise one minute later at 7:17 p.m. and set at 6:58 p.m.
