Oct. 1 Weather: Cloudy day with evening showers for southern Ontario

Some early morning fog will give way to a cloudy day and evening showers to kick off the month of October in Mississauga and southern Ontario.
The rain could come earlier on Tuesday (Sept. 30) as there will be a 30 percent chance of showers late in the afternoon, says Environment Canada.
Fog patches will dissipate in the morning on what’s expected to be a mainly cloudy day. A high of 22 C for the day, though it will feel much warmer and muggier with a humidex of 28.
The UV index will be 5 or moderate.
The cloudy skies will remain into the evening with a 30 percent chance of showers. The showers will begin later in the evening and then end overnight.
An overnight low of 11 C is expected.
The days continue to get shorter with 11 hours and 44 minutes of daylight.
The sun will rise later at 7:16 p.m. and then set at 7 p.m.
