Occupants safe after two-alarm fire breaks out at a house in Mississauga

There is an active fire at a residence in Mississauga this morning.

On Sunday (Jun. 25) at approximately 8:30 a.m., the Mississauga Fire Department were dispatched to a two-alarm fire at a house near Cleary Crt / Thorne Lodge Dr.

The Mississauga Fire department reported that all occupants self-evacuated from the house without any injuries.

The cause of the fire remains unknown, as officials did not include it in their recent tweet.

The fire is still an active situation as crew members make efforts to bring it under control.

For the time being, officials are asking residents and drivers to avoid the area.
