Oakville’s Perry invited to Canadian women’s 15s rugby camp

Oakville’s Taylor Perry has been selected to take part in the Canadian National Senior Women’s 15s rugby squad’s upcoming camp in Halifax, N.S.
The Oakville Crusaders club member and her Canadian teammates will also take part in a test match against Wales next Saturday (Aug. 27) at Wanderers Grounds .
The test match next week will be Canada’s final warm-up before the No. 3 seeded club heads to New Zealand for the upcoming World Cup tournament.
“The players, coaches and support staff are all looking forward to this camp, and next Saturday’s test match against Wales,” said Canadian head coach Kevin Rouet, who will name his match day roster for the game next week.
“As we continue to work towards the Rugby World Cup, our time on the training pitches is extremely valuable, as is playing against top-class opposition. We plan to make the most of our time together over the next ten days as we refine our plans and preparations for New Zealand, both on and off the field.”
