Oakville Trafalgar to face Hamilton’s St. Thomas in Golden Horseshoe football final

Fresh off their first Halton senior boys football championship title since 1985, the Oakville Trafalgar Red Devils are readying to try and pull off another major upset.
Standing directly in their way in the OFSAA Bowl Series is the province’s top ranked team, Hamilton’s St. Thomas More Catholic Secondary School Knights.
Oakville Trafalgar and St. Thomas will now meet in the Golden Horseshoe Athletic Conference final on Wednesday, Dec. 1st.
Oakville Trafalgar, behind the strong play of quarterback Russell Weir, defeated the favoured Nelson Lords (Burlington) 27-14 in the Halton senor boys final last Thursday.
St. Thomas More made it five-straight Hamilton Catholic school titles with a championship win over Cardinal Newman.
