Oakville Symphony searching for a new board director

The Oakville Symphony is looking for a new volunteer board director.

The non-profit charitable organization is searching for a leader who believes that music plays an important role in the community and can help grow the orchestra’s connections within the Oakville community and beyond.

The local organization is looking for someone with experience and strengths in community connections, sponsor development, donor relations and social media and website content.

The orchestra, which will be auditioning four talented conductors during the 2021-22 “Conductor Showcase” season, will be returning to performances at the Oakville Centre.

A nomination for the position will be made in September and then voted on at the Oakville Symphony’s Annual General Meeting in October.
