Oakville sports fields, baseball diamonds closed due to rain

It may be a good day in Oakville for ducks, but not athletes looking to work on their game.

Thanks to a heavy rainfall, anyone planning on using the Town’s fields or diamonds on Monday will have to cancel their plans.

The weather has forced the Town to close all of its grass sports fields and baseball diamonds because of rainfall saturation.

Artificial turf fields throughout Oakville will remain open for permitted users.
