Oakville relocates bus stops for transit passengers

The Town of Oakville is relocating two bus stops for the convenience of transit passengers and pedestrians.
The Westoak Trails Blvd. north of Old Oak Dr. location will see the eastbound bus stop #2220 relocated 40 metres west of the current spot due to the installation of a new pedestrian crossing at the Sixteen Hollow Park trail.
As well, at Upper Middle Rd. east of Ford Dr., the eastbound bus stop #3362 is being moved 240 metres west to the far side of Ford Dr. intersection. This is being done to improve pedestrian safety and provide access to the signalized crosswalk at the intersection.
Both these changes will take place during the next few weeks.
