Oakville pool opening next week delayed due to repairs

Oakville residents looking to take part in daytime drop-in programs at the White Oaks Pool next week will have to wait just a little bit longer.

While the province plans on easing COVID-19 restrictions beginning Jan. 31, the local pool won’t be one of the facilities available.

An unexpected repair in the pool area will mean daytime drop-in programs at the White Oaks pool won’t be available.

The Monday Waterfit, scheduled from 7:45 p.m. to 8:45 p.m., will still run.

Repairs are expected to be completed by Feb. 7.
