More than 750 brave souls jumped into the icy waters of Lake Ontario Sunday for the Courage Polar Bear Swim in Oakville.

The brave dippers raised more than $100,000 for clean water projects around the world. Some of the participants do it to try something a little over the edge, some do it to ring in the New Year, some come to support their loved ones. But they all do it to help provide clean water in developing countries through World Vision Canada.

More than $2.1 million has been raised since the first Courage Polar Bear Swim in 1995.
