With vaccination rates steadily rising and COVID-19 restrictions easing, shoppers returning to Oakville Place will soon have four new restaurants to choose from.

Along with the extensive refurbishment of H&M, mall operators RioCan welcomed STACK Restaurant, Pearl Chinese Cuisine, Joy of Pho and Goodfellas Wood Oven Pizza to its suite of restaurants at Oakville Place.

All four restaurants are set to open between the fall of 2021 and winter of 2022.

The announcement comes as RioCan prepares to launch Urban Kids this month and re-opens the 20,000 square foot H&M store. This is an addition to welcoming Serendipity Candles along with plans to this fall to open a Freshly Squeezed location.

“With summer in full swing and restrictions on retail removed in Step 3, we’re excited to offer Oakville residents four new restaurants to enjoy,” says Carl King, General Manager of Oakville Place. “These openings are exciting new offerings at Oakville Place following a challenging year.

“We also invite our guests to visit the deck, our outdoor space located in the Backyard, where you can grab a bite, have a sip and enjoy some time with family and friends. We look forward to welcoming Oakville residents and families back to experience these new dining options.”

Featuring Southern BBQ cuisine, STACK Restaurant is set to get cooking this September. Pearl Chinese Cuisine and Joy of Pho, which offers unique Vietnamese dishes, are scheduled to open this fall, while Goodfellas will be serving up wood oven pizza beginning late this year/early 2022.

“RioCan prioritizes creating shopping centres that address the long-term needs and desires of the communities in which we operate,” King adds.

“With the opening of these new restaurants, Oakville Place is evolving to become a one-stop-shop for Oakville families, offering everything from fashion and personal care, to dining and banking.”

Oakville Place is located at the QEW and Trafalgar Rd., on Leighland Ave.
