Oakville minivan collapses under weight of brick cargo

On Oakville driver got more than they bargained for when it comes to hauling bricks in a minivan.
A photo posted by Halton Regional Police on social media suggests the load in the vehicle was so heavy that it caused a collapse of a wheel and possibly a break in the rear axle.
“How much brick could a passenger van haul if a passenger van could haul brick?,” police ask on Twitter. “The answer is less than what this van was hauling.”
The photo shows a tow truck ready to haul away the minivan that came to rest on an Oakville sidestreet.
Police have not indicated if charges will be filed against the driver.
