Oakville residents can meet the town’s mayor and councillors in person this weekend at Town Hall when the Annual New Year’s Levee is held.

Mayor Rob Burton and many of the town’s 14 councillors will be on hand when the levee runs January 8 from 1 to 3 pm in the town hall’s South Atrium.

“I look forward to the return of this annual event and opportunity to meet with residents and discuss the upcoming year and term of council,” said Burton.

The event will feature brief remarks from the Mayor as well as musical performances from the Oakville Choir for Children & Youth’s and Raise Her Voice Chamber. Light refreshments will also be served.

Visitors to Town Hall must enter through the left-side visitor front entrance.

During the New Year’s Levee, residents can meet the Mayor and Town Council, learn about their plans for 2023, and participate in local entertainment.

Photos taken during the New Year’s Levee will be posted online a few days following the event.
