Oakville man, 27, reported missing after boarding bus

The Halton police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing man in Oakville.

Phillipe Richardson, 27, of Oakville was last at around 8:45 pm on Thursday (Jan. 12) in the area of Rebecca St. and Third Line in the town of Oakville. Richardson was observed boarding a public transit bus for an unknown destination.

Richardson, who is Black, is described as six-foot-two with a heavy build. He has medium-length black hair and a bread. Richardson was wearing grey pants, a blue winter coat, blue shoes, and was carrying two reusable shopping bags.

“Phillippe may be attempting to travel outside of the region,” Halton Regional Police Service stated on Friday. “Police are concerned for his well-being.”

Residents in the area are asked to pay special attention and contact police if they see anyone matching his description. Anyone with information about Phillippe Richardson or his possible location is asked to contact police through 9-1-1 or via the non-emergency line at 905 825 4777.
