Doing business in Oakville is going to get easier starting Monday (April 25), says the Town.

The Town of Oakville says it is adding more permit applications online to make it easier and faster for developers, businesses and residents to do business with them.

The online procedure allows them to submit, make payments, manage and track the status of applications.

The latest addition to the town’s online services, which starts today, includes the development engineering permits. On May 16, sign permits and noise exemption permits will be added. Then and later this year, planning and development-related applications will transition to an entirely online process.

These enhancements are part of the Digital Oakville Plan with the town launching more projects in 2022 and beyond.

“We are working towards making Oakville a digitally connected community, improving the ease, speed and experience in accessing town services,” said Oakville Mayor Rob Burton.

“As we continue to enhance and transition many services online, it reflects our commitment to innovation, continuous improvement and service excellence for our citizens and the local economy.”

These online enhancements are part of the Digital Oakville Plan with the town launching more projects in 2022 and beyond.
