Oakville home owners return to find house ‘ransacked’

Halton Regional Police are investigating after an Oakville home was broken into and “ransacked” during daylight hours.
The break-in took place on Saturday, April 1, between 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., at a home located on Huntingdon Trail.
The suspect(s) entered the residence via an unlocked window. They proceeded to steal items including cash and jewelry.
“Residents returned home to find it tossed/ransacked,” Halton Regional Police Cst. Ryan Anderson told inhalton.com. ”
The residents were not at home at the time it was broken into.
No arrests have been made, nor is a description of the suspect(s) available.
