Workers at Oakville’s Ford Assembly Plant will have more time to get vaccinated.

Ford Canada has extended its deadline for employees to comply with its COVID-19 vaccine mandate to March 28, according to Automotive News.

The automotive company had announced back in October that it would be mandating COVID-19 vaccines for all its employees by the end of the year and later revealed a deadline of January 3, 2022.

Ford did not reveal what would happen to employees who refused to get the vaccine before the deadline.
