Someone’s ordered items may be running a little late Wednesday morning in Oakville thanks to a speeding delivery driver.

Halton Regional Police pulled over a delivery driver who looked to be in quite the rush speeding along Ninth Line.

Police stopped the driver, who they say was doing 106km/h in a 60 km/hr zone.

“The driver had to call a coworker to complete the deliveries,” said Halton police on Twitter.

The delivery driver is being summonsed to court. They will also have their licence suspended for 30 days and their vehicle will be impounded for 14 days.
