Oakville collecting donations for Ukraine

St. Volodymyr’s Cultural Centre (SVCC) in Oakville is partnering with Ukraine Medical Assist to collect supplies for Ukraine.

Donations will be shipped to the European country in support of its war against invading Russian forces.

Donations can be made until this Friday (March 4) at the SVCC located at 1280 Dundas St. W. between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Items being urgently requested are:

  • Medical backpacks
  • Elastic bandages
  • Thermal blankets
  • Adult diapers
  • Gauze
  • Dry rations
  • Rapid tourniquets
  • QuikClot gauze
  • Medical plus first aid supplies (scissors, tape, etc.)
  • MEDS including Chlorohexadine gluconate, Isopropyl alcohol/ Ethanol 70 per cent, Betadine/povidone-iodine and Polysporin with antibiotic.
  • Аir Release System needle decompression kit (ARS needle Systems)
  • Bulletproof vests
  • Kevlar helmets
  • Construction gloves
  • Duct tape
  • Radios
  • CELOX
  • Packing tape
  • Packing boxes
  • Cash donations for shipping
