There’s a new eatery tucked inside Westdale Mall that’s sure to appetize Mississauga foodies with a global pallet.

Since opening its doors in early October, Nubia Restaurant has offered guests a multi-cultural dining experience blending African, Middle Eastern and North American fast-casual menu items.

Olla Mohamed works at the family-owned eatery along with her mother and says the restaurant’s diverse menu items draw on natural aromas and flavours from around the world.

“We managed to combine all the items in one menu, because people sometimes prefer not to stick to one cuisine,” Mohamed told

The menu includes a selection of hearty soups served with pitta bread, refreshing Middle Eastern salads, and dips like hummus , tabouleh, and a Nubian Labneh made with strained yogurt, fenugreek seed and extra virgin olive oil.

For larger appetites, Nubia Restaurant has you covered with no shortage of wraps and main dishes. From Shwarmas and falafel to lamb shanks, curries and kabobs, Nubia Restaurant has a lot to offer hungry Mississaugans.
