Hamilton’s “largest job board” has launched — giving job seekers new tools in their search.

The new online service by Workforce Planning Hamilton (WPH) offers a jobs board, jobs map, and career explorer.

There are more than 1,300 jobs listed on the board.

“This job board is an innovative tool for Hamiltonians to not only find jobs but to understand career laddering in the city,” said Khadija Hamidu, Executive Director, WPH. “From HSR directions to neighbourhood-specific postings, we do it all.”

WPH is a community planning organization that builds solutions to labour market issues by engaging stakeholders and working with partners.

“We envision a thriving Hamilton community where labour market issues are proactively addressed and all individuals and organizations are able to achieve their potential,” reads an official mission statement. “(Our) greatest strength is our comprehensive community representation.”

WPH is a not-for-profit organization funded by the provincial and federal governments.
