A popular Hamilton restaurant found some humour on social media after an apparent act of vandalism Tuesday (Jan. 25).
Victoria’s Steak & Seafood posted photos of broken glass from the front door of the restaurant in their Instagram story. The caption read, “Not exactly what we meant by ‘take out only.'”
Victoria’s is located at the corner of Locke and King Streets — near Victoria Park.
Its 4.7 rating on Google makes it one of the more highly reviewed restaurants in Hamilton.
Victoria’s posted another Instagram story photo of shattered glass near the entrance of the restaurant and confirmed that no one on the staff was injured and they would still be accepting take-out orders.
Victoria’s Steak & Seafood told inTheHammer that the vandalism seems to have been a random act and outside of a few tablets being stolen, there was no further damage.
The high-end seafood and steak restaurant offers the classics, like crabcakes and lobster tail. It also steps it up a notch with signature items, like the Lobster Tagliatelle and Chuck and Brisket burger.
