A man from North York faces multiple criminal charges following a human trafficking investigation in Niagara Falls.
Niagara Regional Police say the investigation began on Saturday and involves the alleged trafficking of a woman over the age of 18.
Marcel Miller, 31, also known by the aliases “Daddy,” “SD,” and “Smooth Dollaz,” faces several charges including advertising sexual services of a person over 18 and receiving a financial or material benefit from trafficking.
Police say Miller is being held in custody and is scheduled for a bail hearing at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharines.
Investigators believe there may be additional witnesses and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

Police also acknowledged support from Victim Services Niagara and members of the Niagara Region’s Anti-Human Trafficking Response Protocol.
